ZZXY-13 Automotive Polypropylene Fibre Sound Insulation and Thermal Insulation is the multi layers sound deadening material which is enhanced based on the aluminum butyl rubber sound damping material.

Structure: fibre faced +silver foil + self adhesion butyl rubber based + releasing liner

It mainly used for vibration damping and sound deadening, reducing car engine noise, wheel noise, road noise, wind noise ,improve car audio sound quality.

Application

Transportation:

It can be die cut to shape and placed onto the body surface directly on painted panels or after the sheet metal is cleaned before painting (typically at the sealer application operation). is used to treat metal panels, partitions, ducts, doors, bins, panels, and so forth in railroad cars, buses, automobiles, and ships.

It is also used for ventilation ducts, relay cabinets, steel furniture, home appliances, sink units, computer equipment, machine tools and many other objects that suffer from vibration-produced noise.

Installation

1.Clean up the mounting surface, like the hood, trunk, floor, (for door and roof , need to remove the door panel, roof panel) with a quick-drying and residue-free solvent. Remove all dust, dirt, oil, moisture etc.

2.Use scissors or knife ,cut the mat into desired size and shape before removing the release liner.

3.Peel off the releasing liner,press the mat firmly into place, using a roller for larger pieces. The roller reduces the risk of leaving air pockets, which reduce sound damping capacity.

Note:

1.work gloves should be used when handle foil backed material because the sharp edges when cut to different size

2. No need hot gun.

3. Installation room temperature should not below 16 ℃
